In this episode, Heather plugs her new show, "Heather Solves Everything." She'll be interviewing people who are better at life than she is, and showcasing the great things they are doing for the world. Stay tuned for that!
Also, they solve a debate going on at Heather's house, which leads to an exciting prediction for 2021.
And, she has a bunch of random questions for Chryssy. What's the best reason you faked being sick? If you could give me a tattoo when I was sleeping, what would it be? What did you think life at 40 would be like when you were younger?
The gals have a nice chat and some laughs. It's Friday! What else can we ask for.
Today on HTDL is all about new media that has launched this week and brought a spark of joy!
Taylor Swift put out a new album. You can hear Chryssy and Fan Club President Kylene perform the opening track over on the How to Do Life Facebook and Instagram pages. Chryssy became a big Taylor fan several years ago and challenges a listen through of the album. She thinks you’ll become a Swiftie, too.
The biggest recommendation today, though, gives to nod to Netflix for airing a FANTASTIC series called Love on the Spectrum. This program is about young adults with autism seeking love, heading on first dates, and navigating the waters of the big wide world. The show is endearing and sweet and close to Chryssy’s heart professionally. Heather also loves it. We’ve both known lots of people with autism and this is just a refreshing and kind look at what it’s like to live with being a little bit socially different.
The whole of today’s show focuses on Love on the Spectrum, love in general, and autism. It’s a sweet conversation that we hope you enjoy. We offer up a quick little lesson on people-first language and not only respecting or accepting differences but celebrating them.
Heather found a beautiful quote that we failed to drop into the show, but we will leave for you right here.
“Diversity is being invited to the party. Inclusion is being asked to dance.” Verna Myers
Until next time!
In this second part of Chryssy and Heather's vacation special, Heather explores the great American road trip.
We learn that most Americans will add hours of driving to their trip to avoid flying.
We discuss our favorite tunes for the road ahead. We sing the praises of Bugles on your fingers and other great road trip snacks.
And, we wax nostalgic about the trips we took as kids. Chryssy got to ride in a motorhome and Heather's parents turned the back of the van into a party pad! Grab some beef jerky and enjoy this one!
Here are the road tunes Heather tells us about:

Chryssy and Heather are BACK!
After two weeks of vacation, the team comes back to talk about . . . VACATION.
Today’s show focuses on the benefits of solo travel. Chryssy gets very excited about recycling her work today, so here’s a link to an article she wrote about that very subject. https://medium.com/@chryssymoor/need-an-epiphany-travel-alone-a17135eb5a70
We also discuss getting out and about with our kids in tow. Another recycled Chryssy article found here, https://psiloveyou.xyz/heres-how-to-travel-with-children-129fde203006
shares some tips on making travel with kids easier on the whole clan. BONUS – there’s a link in the travel tips article to yet one more, about when travel goes WRONG. You can also find that one here: https://psiloveyou.xyz/travel-with-your-kids-3d29b1f6cc34
We want to hear your tips and tricks and victories and fails as you travel solo or with family in tow. In these times when we can’t always get out and about, it fun to think about times we have traveled and times we will again.
We’ve missed you, listeners. We’re glad to be back.
Until next time.
